With the launch of AiS having just happened we of course are hiring new moderators to do various jobs around the site, one of those is of course writing front page news articles for the site.

Staff that write news posts are part of the Content Team and they also have the power to create new polls and feature content such as groups and blogs.

That being said I will now be accepting any applications for new members on the content team, this also means you will be a site moderator. Please only apply if you are active around the site and responsible, if you do not meet those qualifications, you will be denied a position.

To apply send me a private message detailing why you would be a good choice for a content team member, what qualifications you have, how you have contributed in the past, etc.

Of those that apply, the people I feel are best suited for the job will receive a reply from me, upon receiving this reply (if you do) you must then submit a sample of your writing (it doesn't have to be a novel, something as simple as an article you've made in the past on another site, a well written blog, or even a school essay).

After reviewing the sample articles you will receive one final message back from me with the result (if you made the content team or not).

Two positions have already been filled so now might be the last chance to apply for a while!

Applications will be accepted until Saturday, August 27th at 11:59 PM EST.

We want you to invite your friends here to AiCoD and in return you can earn rewards.

The rewards will be badges, you will receive a new badge each time you reach a certain number of people have been invited by you.

It's time for an all new contest here at All is CoD!

Introducing the banner contest!

To enter, you must create a CoD themed banner using Photoshop (or whatever other program). Try to make the banners stand out, but at the same time don't go over the top with effects and make it cheesy. Any banners that are not CoD related will not be accepted, period.

All banners must:

-Be CoD related.

-Have a width of 964px and height of 175px.

-Have a logo that says "All is CoD" or "AiCoD" or "All is Call of Duty".

 

The deadline for entrees is May 20th at 11:59 PM EST.

All submissions must be pm'd to Kakashi of the Sharingan.

All participants will receive a participation badge.

Winner(s) will receive a winner badge and have their banner used on All is CoD.

The MLG Pro Circuit currently has three main titles: Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo: Reach, and StarCraft 2. In 2011, their holding five Regular Season weekends, all leading up to a National Championship weekend that represents the best of the best of competitive gaming. The Up-coming one will be in Columbus.

When you first walk into the venue you’ll see three giant Main Stages, one for each game; each surrounded by dozens upon dozens of gaming stations, promo booths chock full of free stuff, and special floor areas dedicated to special events, sneak previews of upcoming games, and tons more. Whether you're there to play or there to watch, there’s an insane amount of stuff to keep you busy in between games—and you get to do it all surrounded by your fellow gamers.

Over $25,000 will be awarded to the best players in the events. The full breakdown is as follows:1st = $10,000

Alright, so a lot of people have been complaining about the profile glitch here, and I know it's been a problem for some time now, but to anyone who's profile was unaccessible before, you should no longer experience that problem.

I was talking to Neal and I told him about the problem and as it turns out it was a problem caused by the 5th gen Pokémon widgets.

Long story short - Neal fixed the problem, and all user profiles are now accessible, sorry it's taken so long, I was unaware that no one told Neal.

You may be wondering, “What the heck is Nazi Zombie Night?”

Nazi Zombie Night is for all members of AiCoD to get together and play, Nazi Zombie. If you like fighting the undead, this is the place for you.

It will be this Saturday, April 23rd, at 8 PM EST.

Are you from Europe? Not to Worry, Come at 3 PM EST to join the fun.

Note: The event will take place in the All is CoD Freeplay chat.

Fighting the Undead alone is fun, but fighting them with friends are even more fun.

All attendees with even earn the Nazi Hunter Badge, just for playing! So come on, please join us at our first Nazi Zombie night.

It was only two months ago when the First Strike map pack arrived on Xbox 360 and a month ago when Playstation 3 and PC users finally got their hands on the downloadable content.

Do you already have a burning desire for even more new maps?

Then luckily for you a new map pack might be arriving very soon!

Activision has recently announced their Second Map pack for Black Ops it is “Escalation”. This map pack includes 4 new Multiplayer maps and a new Zombie map. They names of the Multiplayer maps are Seize the Zoo, Secure the Convoy, Take the Hotel, and Raid the Stockpile. The Zombies map is called Survive Call of the Dead.

These are said to be out for Xbox 360 on May 3rd, 2011.As proven by sales of previous Call of Duty map packs, the launch of this kind of downloadable content is as huge as a new blockbuster game on the consoles.First Strike sold more than 1.4 million copies on Xbox Live on its first day of sales.In crafting the Escalation multiplayer maps — Zoo, Convoy, Hotel and Stockpile — the team developed them to be distinct experiences in their own right, giving players the variety they crave in both setting and gameplay,” said Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia, in a statement. “And I don’t want to spoil any surprises for Zombies fans, but Call of the Dead takes it to a whole new level.”

I will be accepting applications for people to join the All is CoD content team from now untill all positions are filled, essentially what you have to do is send me pm explaining why you would be a good staff member and content team member here at AiCoD, how you could/would contribute, how you have already contributed to AiCoD, and of course any/all qualifications.

I will send you a pm back (if I think you might be suitable) and then you can send me a sample of your writing (no it doesn't have to be CoD related since it is just a sample). Once I review your sample you will receive a final pm stating if you made it or not and of course requests to join the necessary staff groups.

Alright, so as some of you may know, over a year and a half ago I started something called "Get Togethers" on All is Fighter. Essentially I was on MSN chatting with GoV on new ways that we could help AiF gain activity, and thinking of how AllisCrossing had K.K. Slider social events based on the night K.K. performs in AC: CF (Saturday), I got to thinking, "is there a way to import something like that onto a site like AiF? The answer I came up with was, yes.

So I said to GoV, what if we did something called "Get Togethers"? A social event that gives the community a chance to get together and discuss ways to improve the site, play some games, and just chat/have a good time.

Together we started to shape up the idea and started the AiF social Get Togethers (or just AiF Get Togethers). We started notifying all the people we could about the event in hopes for a good turnout, I got a hold of JV to tell him, and in the end it was a huge success that continued on for some time after.

Now I'm not going to go into details as to what's going on with the AiF Get Togethers these days, but I will say that Get Togethers are a great way to get the community together and make the site even better or more active than it already is (or at least have fun anyway).

So in brief I had been thinking of more ways I could help AiCoD, and since I had started Get Togethers on AiB recently, I figured I’d do the same for AiCoD.

Now then, onto the first AiCoD Get Together.

Well, being that Get Togethers obviously require organizational time and advertising time before the event actually happens, I figured since Valentine's Day is the next big holiday coming up, why not make the first one based off of that?

Anyway here is all the info on the All is CoD V-Day Get Together!

It's finally here.

After listening to all of your suggestions, and throwing in some of my own, the ladder was born.

I'm really hoping that this system creates fun competition for those that would lke to excell at MLG, and those that just want some stiff competition.

At the moment, I'm more or less working on prizes to attract people, and badges to hype the Ladder. So please get as many people as possible involved.

Because the more teams on the ladder....

The better the prize, if ya get what I mean, wink wink.

Hello everybody! It's Irow again and I'm here to let you know that the Content Team is still accepting applications for writing positions. The content has been admittedly lacking recently and we at All is CoD apologize. If you'd like to see the site grow and want to see your articles on the front page, please feel free to apply! 

A Content Team writer will be expected to meet deadlines on articles and supply a consistent stream of content. A strong grasp of the English language is recommended and creativity is encouraged. I personally oversee the Content Team and will serve as an editor to most of the content that will be posted on the Front Page.

In your application, please include your full name, name on the site, and some information on yourself and your qualifications to write for the site. Send all applications to irowinfernus@gmail.com and I will personally review all applications. Also, include a sample article that would be ready to be posted on the front page should you be accepted for the position. Articles must pertain to Call of Duty in some way. If accepted, I will contact you through e-mail and post your sample article that you included in your application. Applications will be taken through the week!

If you have any ideas for something you'd like to see on the front page, please feel free to comment below. All is CoD is a community-driven site and your input is vital to our success.
